Nurturing Character, Capability, and Vision

The Lote Seed Scholarship is a unique two-year, part-time programme delivered online during evenings and weekends. It nurtures excellence in mind, body, and soul through tailored GCSE support in subjects such as Maths and Science, alongside dedicated tarbiyyah and wider personal development.

Our mentors, Muslim students and graduates from top UK universities, support each student to develop capability, strengthen their character, and cultivate a clear sense of purpose. Through continuous guidance, students learn to anchor their ambitions in sincerity for Allah ﷻ and direct their efforts towards a vision that benefits society.

Vision & Purpose

Alhamdulillah, through being a student at Al Quds Academy, I have a clear vision for what I want to do. By seeing the great skills and characters of all of the mentors and the Al Quds team, it increased my desire to be a teacher, and to care for the younger generations, just like them.

Scholarship Selection Criteria

The Lote Seed Scholarship seeks young Muslims in Year 8 and 9 who show early potential and the drive to grow into capable, grounded change makers.

Students are considered across two primary criteria: aptitude and commitment, with widening participation taken into account separately at the initial screening stage.

Aptitude

We deeply appreciate that intelligence takes many forms and that each student expresses it differently.

Commitment

We’re looking for students and parents who demonstrate genuine drive and readiness to engage with the scholarship journey,

Widening Participation

An allocation of points at the initial screening stage recognises applicants from widening participation backgrounds. Students regularly progress to interview and secure places even when no widening participation points apply.
